Our encounter was short and sweet! I wanted to shoot her for a while but could never find the time, fortunately, I had a day off as I was flying home to Belfast that evening so we shot during the day. I brought the case of clothes I was bringing home to Belfast (hence the Celtic shirt), so basically I was dressing her up as myself.
I was very much drawn to her as soon as I saw her, she reminds me of a girl I shot when I first picked up my Canon who then became a very good friend of mine. Katy is a beautiful girl, inside and out, and very easy to work with- she was completely open and receptive to any of the ideas I had. We talked about the best charity shops in London and our plans for the future. We had to wrap up quickly as the sun was setting and it was about to rain, but, because of this, there is a lot of atmosphere in the photographs which I ended up loving.
